Return a full list of alternative fuel stations that match your query. This dataset powers the Alternative Fueling Station Locator on the Alternative Fuels Data Center.

ev_connector_type_operator

Control how multiple connector type options passed to the ev_connector_type parameter behave. The default of OR will return stations that have any of the connectors present. Specifying AND will only return stations that have all of the connectors present.

For example, with the default OR value, then performing a query for ev_connector_type=CHADEMO,J1772COMBO will return any station that has either CHADEMO or J1772COMBO connectors present. Compare that to a query for ev_connector_type=CHADEMO,J1772COMBO&ev_connector_type_operator=AND which will return stations that must have both CHADEMO and J1772COMBO connectors present at the same station.

The response is composed of the fuel stations matching the requested query. For JSON, GeoJSON, or XML formats, additional metadata is supplied in the following structure:

This date is estimated. For temporarily unavailable electric vehicle charging stations added to the Station Locator through automated data feeds from charging networks, this is the date that the station became temporarily unavailable. Primary: A propane station is considered primary because it meets the following criteria, developed based on feedback from the propane industry:

The station is staffed and able to fuel vehicles during normal business hours (e.g., 8am-5pm M-F), and does not require drivers to call ahead;
The station can fill vehicles at a rate of 8-12 gallons per minute or faster, or at a rate similar to filling a gasoline vehicle; and
The station accepts credit cards or fleet cards.
